GRAN SASSO
The history of Gran Sasso begins in 1952, in the small village of Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata, thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of four brothers: Nello, Eraldo, Alceo and Francesco Di Stefano.
The name was inspired by the mountain range overlooking the valley, which witnessed the birth of a noble connection between the passion of this family and this generous and hard-working territory.
The transformation from a family business into an industrial company takes place in the 1970s, when the success of the enterprise leads to more prestigious market positions and equals ultimate achievements on the domestic and foreign markets.
“Quality is always fashionable” is the company’s inspiring motto. Gran Sasso does not need any external mark or logo to be recognizable. The highest quality is their “trademark”, and the long life of the product is their advertising. Traditional basic styles work together with a younger and innovative look. The first step is the quality of the raw material. Many years of experience and close relationships with the best Italian and international suppliers give Gran Sasso the opportunity to have the highest quality natural yarns and fabrics.
The second step is production quality. All Gran Sasso products are made in Italy in their own factory, making each Gran Sasso piece unique and unique.
